A fresh red-dominant paint scheme for the Hero Karizma XMR 250 has been captured in spy photographs at a dealership location. Automotive enthusiast Sahil Sagar credited the latest images, which showcase the fully-faired motorcycle sporting a colour configuration not seen previously.
New Colour Scheme and Exterior Details
The motorcycle features red as its main exterior shade across the raised tail section, front fairing, and fuel tank. White elements such as the front mudguard and fairing graphics provide visual contrast, alongside side panels and black tank inserts that divide the red body panels.

Badging includes Karizma lettering on the fuel tank and prominent XMR decals on the lower fairing. Finishing touches consist of black mirrors, black alloy wheels, and gold-finished upside-down front forks. The machine also keeps its split-seat configuration, fairing-mounted winglets, angular front lighting, and tall transparent windscreen.
This marks the third distinct visual theme observed for the model. The iteration shown at EICMA 2025 displayed a mostly white exterior with red details, while the unit seen at a dealership in July 2026 featured a black-and-red layout. It is not yet confirmed if all three options will be offered when the product goes on sale in India.
Timeline and Powertrain Specifications
The Karizma XMR 250 originally debuted globally at EICMA 2024, followed by a showing at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. Hero then displayed a revised model at EICMA 2025 that added cruise control and ride-by-wire functionality.

The motorcycle is anticipated to run on the identical 250cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor found in the Xtreme 250R. Previous disclosures indicated output figures of 30 PS and 25 Nm, connected to a six-speed transmission.
- Trellis frame

Market Position and Competition
The upcoming flagship faired offering from Hero enters a segment where rivals have already established a presence. Yamaha introduced the R2 in India with an ex-showroom starting price around Rs 2.31 lakh. Beyond the Yamaha offering, the Karizma XMR 250 is projected to contend against the KTM RC 200 and Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
