Royal Enfield has successfully disposed of its entire domestic allocation of the 125th Anniversary Edition of the Classic 650 in a span of under six minutes. A strict production run of merely 125 motorcycles was designated for the Indian market, and handovers to buyers are slated to commence as early as November. This limited-production offering marks 125 years of the brand and includes various customized visual components.
Design and Aesthetics
The visual alterations are substantial, headlined by a Hypershift paint scheme that incorporates a brass base shifting through red, green, and gold hues depending on the viewing angle. The manufacturer has also incorporated a gilded 125 Years crest, dedicated side panel emblems for the anniversary, and hand-crafted pinstripes. A brown leather single seat featuring quilted stitching further sets this commemorative variant apart from the standard Classic 650 variant.
A teardrop fuel container, nacelle-styled headlight, and curved body panels preserve the classic retro silhouette, while the special graphics and metallic coating boost exclusivity. Furthermore, the motor is treated with a matte black finish. Mechanically and performance-wise, the setup remains identical to the standard version.
