While car options across segments continue to become more advanced and costlier to purchase, Nissan India has recently launched a 7-seater B-segment MPV for the price of an economy hatchback or compact SUV. The new Gravite MPV offers over 30 safety features as standard, the option of an EZ Shift automatic and features such as JBL audio and 3-row cooling at a starting price of Rs 5.65 lakh ex-showroom. Here’s a closer look at the Gravite variants and their prices to help you understand if you should shortlist this 7-seater for your family trips.

1. Nissan Gravite Visia MT (Base Variant – Rs 5.65 Lakh Ex-Showroom)

The base Visia variant of the Nissan Gravite gets the ball rolling with projector headlamps, slide-and-recline second-row seats, and a removable third row. The 1.0-litre powers it, a naturally aspirated petrol engine that is standard across all variants and produces 70 hp and 96 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. With over 30 standard features, it gets 6 airbags, hill start assist, traction control and more. However, this variant could suit fleet operators more than private owners.

2. Nissan Gravite Acenta MT (Rs 6.59 Lakh Ex-Showroom)

The Acenta variant adds infotainment and comfort features to the mix with more upmarket exterior styling. It comes with the 8-inch floating-style touchscreen, steering-mounted audio controls and an independent AC unit for the 2nd and 3rd rows. The engine and manual transmission remain the same as the base variant.

3. Nissan Gravite N-Connecta MT (Rs 7.20 Lakh Ex-Showroom)

The N-Connecta variant keeps the same mechanicals and adds other convenient goodies such as rear camera with active guidelines, rear wiper and defogger and functional roof rails with load bearing of up to 50 kg. It also gets visual enhancements such as the LED taillamps, LED indicators in ORVMs and door cladding decals. The N-Connecta variant is also important as it becomes the entry-point for the AMT automatic gearbox in the Gravite lineup.

4. Nissan Gravite N-Connecta EZ Shift (Rs 7.80 Lakh Ex-Showroom)

For Rs 60,000 extra, you can upgrade to the Gravite N-Connecta EZ Shift variant from the MT. This adds the 5-speed AMT automatic gearbox, making everyday driving more convenient. Power output of 70 hp and 96 Nm torque from the 999cc petrol engine remains unchanged from the manual transmission version.

5. Nissan Gravite Tekna (Rs 7.91 Lakh To Rs 8.49 Lakh)

Talking about the top-end Tekna variant, it gets the full package with the addition of the LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, 7-inch driver information display, 15-inch dual-tone flex wheels, push button start-stop and more. The Gravite Tekna manual version is priced at Rs 7.91 lakh ex-showroom and the EZ Shift automatic is on offer at Rs 8.49 lakh ex-showroom.

6. Nissan Gravite Launch Edition (Rs 8.35 Lakh To Rs 8.93 Lakh)

The special Launch Edition of the Gravite MPV adds luxury upgrades and custom design elements into the mix. It gets C-shaped aero accents, wheel arch aero accents, drift flow graphics, door visor and chrome inserts on the exterior. Inside it gets premium JBL audio, dual dash cameras, an air purifier, ambient lighting and more. The Manual version of the Launch Edition is priced at Rs 8.35 lakh ex-showroom and the EZ Shift automatic costs Rs 8.93 lakh ex-showroom.
