Nissan Magnite Launched With Retrofit CNG Kit In India

Nissan has introduced a CNG retrofit option for the Magnite in India. The government-approved CNG kit will be provided by Motozen and can only be installed at approved fitment stations. Nissan will charge an additional Rs 74,999 on top of the ex-showroom price of the Magnite for this kit, which comes with a standard warranty of three years or 100,000 km, offered by Motozen.

This CNG retrofit option is available exclusively for the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol manual variant of the Magnite. It cannot be installed on the 1.0-litre AMT, 1.0-litre turbo manual, or 1.0-litre CVT variants. The non-turbo 1.0-liter petrol engine in the Magnite produces 72 hp and 96 Nm of peak torque. Nissan has not yet disclosed the engine’s power output while running on CNG. Prices for the start at Rs 6.14 lakh (ex-showroom), which go up to Rs 6.89 lakh with the cost of the CNG kit included.
