Kia India has launched a new ownership program called ‘Kia Lease’ in collaboration with ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services Limited. This program offers an alternative to traditional car ownership, allowing customers to lease Kia vehicles without the responsibilities of maintenance, insurance, or resale.
Under the ‘Kia Lease’ program the company is offering leasing options for periods ranging from 24 to 60 months, with different mileage plans. Customers can choose to lease a vehicle without making an initial down payment. The program includes coverage for maintenance costs, insurance renewals and eliminates the need for customers to manage the resale of the vehicle. In this initiative the company is offering three model options for lease – Seltos, Sonet and Carens. The minimum monthly lease price for Seltos starts from Rs 28,900, for Sonet it starts from Rs 21,900 and for the Carens it starts from Rs 28,800.
At the end of the lease term, customers have the option to return the vehicle or upgrade to a new Kia vehicle. With this initiative the company is aiming to enhance its market presence and increase sales through this leasing program. The company is also dedicating staff and customer care support for this new initiative to ensure smooth operation.
The first phase of ‘Kia Lease’ has been introduced in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru and Pune.
Commenting on the occasion, Vivek Wadhera MD and CEO at ORIX India, “Leasing is the next big trend in India where people are more concerned about mobility without any hassles attached to it. Leasing provides all that convenience under a single contract which offers attractive rentals linked usage, fully serviced vehicle, insurance for full period and option to change the car on closure of lease. We expect this space to grow over the coming years”.
