Refreshed Ola S1X, S1X+ Electric Scooters Launched In India: Check Price, Range, Features

Ola has introduced its Gen 3 scooters – four new models: the S1 X, S1 X+, S1 Pro, and the new flagship S1 Pro+. Prices for the Gen 3 models range from Rs 79,999 to Rs 1.17 lakh. The S1 Air has been discontinued, while the Gen 2 models of the S1 X and S1 Pro will remain available for purchase alongside the new Gen 3 scooters, now offered at reduced prices.
The company asserts that every aspect of these electric scooters has been redesigned. The chassis has been re-engineered from the ground up, resulting in a significantly lighter structure. The motor has undergone extensive revisions, and the battery cells are also new. In a move that may help reduce costs, Ola Electric has opted for a chain drive system for these scooters. Additionally, the new models feature a mid-drive motor with an integrated MCU and are equipped with Brake-by-Wire technology. The scooters come with a front disc brake as standard, and the instrument cluster is now segmented with an LCD display.
