Being a Kei car, the Japanese-spec Alto features a compact silhouette. It comes with halogen headlamps and tail lamps, no fog lamps, fender-mounted turn indicators, and no alloy wheels. On the inside, you see a simple dashboard layout, with the gear selector mounted on the lower part to free up space where the centre tunnel would be.

Talking about transmission, the Japanese-spec Alto comes with a CVT unit. This is paired with a 0.65-litre petrol engine, which is also available with mild-hybrid tech. Power figures stand at 45 hp and 55 Nm of peak torque. You can also have this Alto with AWD. Fuel efficiency figures stand at 28.2 km/l.
