Tata Motors has launched the in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) which goes up to Rs 17.7 lakh (ex-showroom) for the most expensive variant. As per the brand, the pricing of different variants of the SUV coupe ensures that it is a fitting rival for various competitors in the segment. Before this, the brand had announced the price of the Curvv EV which is currently on sale for a starting price of Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
The ICE variant of the Curvv features a distinctive front grille to allow airflow into the engine and cooling system, differing in appearance from the electric model. Its SUV-coupe design showcases a roofline that slopes seamlessly into the rear end, along with streamlined door handles to enhance aerodynamics. Additionally, it sports newly crafted 18-inch alloy wheels.
Tata Motors has introduced six different variants of the new model: Smart, Pure+, Creative, Creative+ S, Accomplished S, and Accomplished+ A. Each version comes with distinct features such as a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, a fully digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and more.
To enhance safety, Tata Motors has worked on making a sturdy frame and incorporated advanced safety features, including six airbags, ESC, disc brakes on all four wheels, TPMS, Level 2 ADAS with a suite of 20 features, a 360-degree camera, a front parking sensor, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, and more.
The ICE variant of the Curvv will be equipped with a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine, a new 1.2-liter direct injection turbo petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. It will also offer transmission options, comprising a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed automatic gearbox.
With all of the aforementioned details, Tata Curvv is suitable to compete against some popular models like Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, and others in the same segment.
