Tata Motors Updates Its Most Affordable Crossover For 2025; Gets Design Tweaks, More Features

Tata Motors has recently updated the Tiago and Tigor for the 2025 model year. Now, the same update has been carried forward to the Tiago NRG. The jacked-up version of Tata’s hatchback has a bunch of updates for 2025. Revisions include minor cosmetic tweaks and an updated feature list. The MY25 Tiago NRG price starts from Rs 7.2 lakh (ex-showroom).

For 2025, the Tiago NRG has a fresh face. The profile stays the same, but there are a few tweaks. The front bumper and silver faux skid plates (front and back) have been revised. The wheel covers for the steel rims have also been updated to a new design. The rest of the exterior bits stay the same, the highlights of which include a blacked-out roof, an integrated roof spoiler, plastic cladding, and the rear hatch panel.

2025 : Interior

The interior changes are more obvious. There is a new steering wheel and a bigger 10.25-inch central touchscreen. The infotainment unit offers connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. MY25 Tiago NRG comes with automatic headlamps and wipers, a rear parking camera, and a digital instrument cluster. There is no XZ+ grade, so this crossover misses out on cruise control and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

The Tiago NRG continues with a 1.2-litre, revotron petrol engine that produces 86 hp and 113 Nm of peak torque. It is available with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.
