Tata Nexon EV 45 kWh Achieves 5-Star Bharat NCAP Rating

Tata Motors has recently celebrated a significant safety milestone with the Nexon EV, as both its 45kWh and 30kWh variants have received a coveted 5-star rating from Bharat NCAP. This means the entire Nexon EV lineup is recognised for outstanding safety features, setting a high standard in the electric vehicle market.

The 45kWh model performed impressively in crash tests, scoring 29.86 out of 32 points for adult occupant protection and an impressive 44.95 out of 49 for child occupant protection. These ratings highlight how seriously Tata prioritises the safety of adults and children in their vehicles.

The tests focused on the top-spec Empowered+ LR variant, which is fully equipped with features designed to keep all passengers safe. This includes six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), ISOFIX child seat anchor points, reminders for seatbelts, a 360-degree camera, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
