This Hyper Modern Electric Scooter Is A Stellar-Hit In India, Over 50,000 Units Booked In 2 Weeks

The Ultraviolet Tesseract was launched in India earlier this month. The electric scooter’s introductory price for the first 10,000 customers was Rs 1.20 lakh. However, bookings breached the 20,000 mark within the first 48 hours of the price announcement. Ultraviolette then extended the introductory price to the first 50,000 customers. Today, the brand conveyed through an official statement that it has received 50,000 bookings for the Tesseract. This milestone was achieved within two weeks of the e-scooter’s debut.

Ultraviolette is offering the Tesseract with three battery options. The smallest pack is a 3.5 kWh unit, which promises a range of 162 km. Next comes the 5 kWh unit, which promises an IDC range of 220 km. At the top sits the 6 kWh battery pack, which is certified for an IDC range of 261 km.

The Tesseract comes with several advanced rider assistance systems that can help prevent a crash. The list includes integrated radar, adding features such as blind-spot detection, overtaking assist, and lane change. The e-scooter is also equipped with real-time collision alerts. Another essential safety feature is the traction control system.

With the first 50,000 bookings done, prices for the Tresseract are not set at Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand will reveal the variant-wise prices in Q4 2025. Deliveries of this e-scooter are expected to commence early next year. Bookings continue to remain open at a token amount of Rs 999.
