SAIC–Audi has officially rolled out the at the 2025 Auto Shanghai exhibition, marking a significant step in the collaboration between SAIC Motor Corporation and Audi AG. This new model is designed specifically for the Chinese market and is set to hit the roads in mid-2025. The E5 Sportback introduces a fresh branding approach, replacing the iconic four-ring emblem with a bold ‘AUDI’ wordmark.

With a stylish and athletic design, the E5 Sportback measures 4,870 mm in length, 1,990 mm in width, and 1,460 mm in height, giving it a sleek fastback shape accentuated by a generous 2,950 mm wheelbase. Inside, one of the standout features is a massive 27-inch 4K digital display that stretches across the dashboard, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chipset and with the new AUDI OS. This system allows for customizable layouts and includes an AI virtual assistant for seamless touch and voice interaction.

Buyers can choose from four electric powertrain options, including rear-wheel and Quattro all-wheel drive configurations. Plus, with its 800-volt architecture, the vehicle can charge ultra-fast, adding up to 370 km of range in just 10 minutes.
