Additionally, announced that a new version of the Carens will be launched on May 8. While details about the updated version are still not disclosed, recent spy shots of the test mule suggest that the new Carens will feature substantial changes compared to the current model.

2025 : Exterior And Interior

The updated Carens will come with a bunch of exterior updates. Changes will likely include a restyled front fascia, new headlamps, a slimmer grille, and new front and rear bumpers. The MPV could also come with a fresh set of alloy wheels. Besides the exterior changes, Kia will also tweak a few things on the inside. While the design will likely stay the same, Kia could add new features to the MPV, such as ADAS tech.

Since this is a mid-life update, the Carens will continue with the same engine options. The current model comes with a 115 hp 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine, a 160 hp 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a 116 hp 1.5-litre turbo-diesel. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque converter automatic, a 6-speed iMT, and a 7-speed DCT, depending upon which engine option you pick.
