In the last financial year, Maruti Suzuki sold 1,98,451 units of the in India. So far, the brand has sold more than 33.7 lakh hatchback units. The Wagon R is currently running in its fourth generation in our country.

The Wagon R has two engine options: a 1.2-litre four-cylinder and a 1.0-litre three-cylinder. The former produces 89 hp and 113 Nm of peak torque, while the latter cranks out 66.2 hp and 89 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT.
