This SUV Was The Highest-Selling Vehicle In India Last Month, Not The Maruti Grand Vitara Or Tata Nexon

Hyundai sold 18,059 units of the Creta in India last month, making it the best-selling vehicle in the country. The brand also announced that Creta was the best-selling SUV in India in the fourth quarter of the last financial year, with 52,898 units sold. Not only this, but the strong sales of the compact SUV made it the third highest-selling vehicle in India in FY 2024-25, with total sales of 1,94,871 units.

24% Of Buyers Opted For Top Trims

Top-end trims accounted for 24% of Creta sales in the last financial year. This figure was higher for Creta’s electric version, where 71% of buyers went for the top-of-the-line variants. A significant chunk of the buyers, 69% to be precise, went for the models equipped with a sunroof. On the other hand, 38% opted for variants that come with connected features.

Hyundai Creta Available With Petrol, Diesel, And Electric Powertrains

Hyundai offers the Creta with multiple powertrain options. The ICE version of this SUV is available with 113 hp, 1.5-litre petrol, 157-hp 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, and 113 hp 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine options. On the other hand, the electric version is available with either a 135-hp (standard range) or a 171-hp (long range) electric motor.

Prices For The Hyundai Creta Start From Rs 11.10 Lakh

Prices for the ICE version of the Creta fall from Rs 11.10 lakh to Rs 20.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, prices for its electric version start at Rs 17.99 lakh and go up to Rs 24.37 lakh (ex-showroom).
