Triumph Scrambler 400 XC Launched In India At Rs 2.94 Lakh

has been launched in the Indian market at Rs 2.94 Lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle has been announced with more off-road friendly accessories such as standard engine and sump guard, high fender, windscreen, tank pad and wire spoke 19/17 wheels. The bike will be available for purchase across the company’s authorized dealerships across India.

The new joins the company’s modern classic range such as Scrambler 400 X, Speed 400, and Speed 400 T4. The company says that the new Scrambler 400 XC commemorates the 75+ years of legacy. The bike draws its design inspiration from the established Scrambler 900 and 1200 models.

At the heart of the new Scrambler 400 XC sits the company’s trusted 400cc TR series engine delivering 40 PS of maximum power which is recorded at 8,000 rpm and 37.5 Nm of peak torque recorded at 6,500 rpm. Another key addition to the bike includes the use of a raised stainless twin-skin header system with stainless steel silencer.

Triumph Scrambler 400 XC joins the company’s modern classic range such as Scrambler 400 X, Speed 400, and Speed 400 T4.

Some of the key features on the new Scrambler 400 XC include traction control system, Off-road ABS, Ride-by-Wire throttle, LED lighting, Torque-assist clutch, Immobilizer and USB charging socket and much more.
