TVS Apache RR310 has been enjoying its place in the sub 400 cc sports bike category ever since its introduction in 2018. The flagship offering from the Hosur-based two-wheeler maker has carved its place in the competitive category which has prominent rivals such as the KTM RC390 among others. Now, TVS is planning to the amp to the game with a planned update to the Apache RR310 to keep up with the segment rivals and the two-wheeler giant has now sent an invite for a new model launch on September 16th, which is most likely the new RR310.

Recent sightings of the bike undergoing testing have hinted at several enhancements. Visually, the updated model is expected to feature aerodynamic winglets on the side fairings, a design element commonly seen on high-performance motorcycles. Additionally, new color schemes and graphics are likely to be introduced. There’s also a possibility of a limited-edition variant inspired by the TVS Racing team, similar to the Sepang Blue color option offered for the Apache RTR 310.
Beyond the cosmetic changes, the Apache RR 310 is expected to receive several technological upgrades. Features such as a bi-directional quick shifter, cruise control, traction control, and cornering ABS, which are already present in the Apache RTR 310, are anticipated to be incorporated into the RR 310 model. Furthermore, the inclusion of a heated or cooled seat could further enhance rider comfort and convenience. These additions are poised to solidify the Apache RR 310’s position as a technologically advanced motorcycle within its segment.

In terms of mechanicals, minor adjustments to the engine are anticipated. While the current 312.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine produces 33.5bhp and 27.3Nm, TVS may refine the engine to deliver slightly more power. This potential increase aligns with the more powerful 35.08bhp output of the RTR 310 engine. However, the underlying chassis is expected to remain unchanged.
The launch of the updated Apache RR 310 is scheduled for mid-September, and test rides are expected to follow shortly thereafter. This upcoming update marks a continuation of the model’s evolution since its initial introduction in 2018. With the addition of winglets and potential performance enhancements, the Apache RR 310 is poised to make a mark in the segment.
