TVS Apache Sold Over 60 Lakh Units — Celebrates 20 Years of Apache

TVS Motor Company marks two important milestones for its TVS Apache motorcycle brand; 20 years since the debut of the TVS Apache and 6 million customers worldwide. After its launch in 2005, the Apache has become one of the fastest-growing sports motorcycle manufacturers, available in more than 60 countries. Two Decades of Excellence in Performance

The story of Apache started in 2005 with Apache 150, the motorcycle soon became popular within riders looking for performance. In over 20 years, TVS has broken the range into two unique platforms; the race-focussed Apache RR and the street-friendly Apache RTR. By today, that lineup has grown to a total of six models in the range — the 160cc RTR to the powerful 310cc RR — that meets a variety of riding tastes.

TVS attributes the success of the Apache to its pedigree from the racetrack. It derives a ton of its road bikes on track-proven tech, much from the 43-year heritage of TVS Racing. TVS made history as the first Indian two-wheeler manufacturer to offer factory customization with its Build-to-Order (BTO) option, letting buyers edits their bikes to their liking.
