TVS Patents Its Upcoming 300cc ADV In India; Likely To Get The RTX D4 Engine

is working on a new 300cc ADV. The homegrown automaker has now filed for a design patent for the same in India. Though there is no official word from TVS on this upcoming product, the new ADV, which will be called the Apache RTX, was leaked during the 2025 Auto Expo. Last year, the brand revealed its new 300cc RTX D4 engine. This power unit will likely make its debut with the RTX.

The Is A Handsome ADV

The Apache RTX has an impressive appearance with its semi-faired bodywork and distinctive golden upside-down (USD) forks at the front. The model displayed at the expo featured several accessories. Key highlights of the bike include a large windscreen, a dual-tone colour scheme, a robust fuel tank, LED lighting, and an attractive underbelly pan.

New TVS Apache RTX To Feature The RTXD4 Engine

Though not confirmed, the new RTX ADV will likely get TVS’ new RTX D4 300cc engine. TVS unveiled this power unit at Motosoul last year. It is a liquid-cooled engine that produces 34 hp and 28.5 Nm of peak torque. It pairs with a 6-speed gearbox and comes with ride-by-wire technology.
