  • The charging network is live in multiple states
  • All Ultraviolette EVs will be compatible with this network

As part of this collaboration, Ultraviolette is building an interoperable charging ecosystem based on a standardised interface. This should improve charging accessibility and support wider EV adoption. Currently, charging stations are live in multiple states, including Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Delhi, and Gujarat.

The network will expand to 50 upgraded Bolt.Earth stations over the next two months. Additionally, all upcoming Bolt.Earth charging stations will be compatible with the entire Ultraviolette lineup and its upcoming models as well. The brands have also announced plans to expand the network by 2000 charging stations in the coming 24 months.

The chargers that are deployed in these Bolt.Earth charging stations use a 3kW DC fast charger. With this, customers can charge their F77 and X-47 from 0-80 percent in 2.5 hours and 0-100 percent in 3.5 hours. Higher-capacity 6kW and 12kW chargers will be introduced in the future to reduce charging times.

The integrated smart ecosystem via Ultraviolette and Bolt.Earth apps make it easier for riders to check real-time charger availability and monitor charging sessions remotely, while also offering an easy scan-to-pay experience. Overall, this partnership should help make it easier for Ultraviolette customers to get better access to public charging infrastructure and reduce range anxiety.
