Upcoming KTM 350 Range to Co-exist Alongside 390 Lineup

  • New KTM 350 range could be priced Rs. 50,000 lower than the 390s
  • Expected to be launched later this month

KTM is gearing up to launch its new 350 range of motorcycles in India soon. But, unlike the Triumph, KTM will sell the 350 range alongside the existing 390 lineup in India.

This makes business sense as the KTM customer is different than a Triumph buyer. For a Triumph 400 buyer, the emphasis is on the modern retro styling, heritage, and value pricing. KTM, on the other hand, is known for its outright performance, precision handling, and premium features list. So, customers seeking the full KTM experience can go for the 390 range, while the value-conscious buyer can consider the 350s.

The KTM 350s will also make sense because of the price advantage over the 390 lineup. With the recent price hikes on the KTM 390 Duke and the 390 Adventure X, the 350s will likely have a price gap of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000, compared to the 390 range.

The 390 Duke now retails at Rs. 3.39 lakh, while the 390 Adventure X costs Rs. 3.43 lakh. These prices are nearly over Rs. 40,000 more than the original pre-GST 2.0 prices. The upcoming KTM 350s could be priced under Rs. 3 lakh, making them value-for-money offerings over the 390s.

Bajaj Auto is expected to launch the new KTM 350 range in India later this month as the company has just introduced the 2026 Triumph 400 range, powered by the new 349cc motor.
