Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line Launched In India: Check Price, Engine Specifications, and Features

has launched the long-awaited R-Line in India. It brings the third generation of the premium SUV to our shores, albeit only in a top-of-the-range trim. The introductory price has been set at Rs 48.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Like the previous-generation Tiguan, this one will also be assembled in India. says that deliveries will start from 23rd April 2025.

The comes with LED Plus headlights and a glass-covered horizontal strip. The SUV’s rear features a new horizontal LED strip in addition to unique combination lamps. Adding a sporty touch, the Tiguan R-Line is equipped with 19-inch “Coventry” alloy wheels with diamond-turned surfaces.

Inside, the ‘R’ inspired front sport comfort seats, which come equipped with ‘Ergo active’ technology, offering a massage function and adjustable lumbar support. Ambient lighting also features 30 customizable colours, illuminated door handle recesses, and a striking ‘R’ logo prominently displayed on the dashboard.

Performance-wise, the Tiguan R-Line is equipped with a 2.0-liter TSI EVO engine that delivers 204 hp of power and 320 Nm of torque. This powerhouse is paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission and boasts 4Motion all-wheel drive capability. The model also features Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) Pro.
