2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB Makes Global Debut At Auto China 2024

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class long wheelbase with Level 2+ ADAS & AI has made its global debut at Auto China 2024. The latest iteration of this popular sedan has grown in proportions and has been introduced with 10 additional exclusive luxury features for the Chinese market.

German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz has introduced the latest version of its luxury sedan, E-Class. The 2025 E-Class L made its world premier at the 18th edition of Auto China 2024, currently underway at China International Exhibition Center in Beijing, China. At the event the company also showcased the new CLA concept car and along with the electrified version of the G-Wagon; the G580.

The company has introduced the 2025 E-Class long wheelbase as the successor of the 10th gen E-Class. It has been showcased in two versions. I.e. the Saloon & the Sports Saloon. now measures 5,092 mm in length, 1,880 mm in width and 1,493 mm in height. It has a wheelbase spanning 3,094 mm; which is 133 mm longer than the standard E-Class and 15 mm longer than the last E-Class long wheelbase.

The company has updated the interior of the 2025 E-Class L with the latest technology and features. On the inside it gets a new tri-screen dashboard with 3rd generation MBUX system featuring an independent 12.3-inch independent digital instrument cluster and integrated infotainment system and passenger display. It gets a 14.4 inch infotainment system and 12.3-inch passenger display. It also gets 360-degree active ambient lighting, reclining rear seats, rear neck rests with heating functions, wireless charging, 730 watts 21-speaker Burmester 4D surround sound system with Dolby Atmos, voice assistant and more.

Mercedes-Benz has also integrated AI into this car which learns user habits and comfort settings using which it automates the settings for the user.

Mercedes-Benz has also bolstered the safety of this car and made it futuristic with the inclusion of Level 2+ ADAS features like Automatic Lane Change Assist (ALC) based on the SAE Level 2 standard; this system was developed in China.
