2025 Suzuki Avenis Launched With OBD-2B Compliance

Suzuki Motorcycle India has just rolled out the updated 2025 version of its Avenis scooter, giving it an internal upgrade to meet the latest OBD-2B emission standards. Alongside the cleaner engine, the popular two-wheeler also gets a visual refresh with the introduction of new colour options, all while maintaining an accessible ex-showroom price of Rs 91,400.

The core change lies in the Avenis’s 124.3 cc single-cylinder engine, now engineered to comply with the stricter OBD-2B regulations. This power unit is tuned to deliver 8.5 hp and a peak torque of 10 Nm. Beyond the mechanical enhancements, Suzuki has also given the 2025 Avenis a bit of a style update with the addition of new colour choices.

The feature list remains the same, with a fully digital instrument cluster providing essential information, including battery voltage, oil change reminders, trip details, engine temperature, fuel level, and even an indicator to help maximise fuel economy.

The Avenis continues to boast full LED lighting, an engine start and stop switch with Suzuki’s easy start system, a side stand safety interlock, a comfortable stepped seat, split grab rails, and a generously sized floorboard. For added utility, it includes a front storage box with a USB charging port, an optional front rack for extra carrying capacity, an external fuel filler cap, and a substantial 21.8 litres of under-seat storage.
