KTM 390 Adventure S

The KTM 390 Adventure S is the erstwhile standard model, now renamed to make room for the new entry-level 390 Adventure. Positioned as a more well-rounded offering, it bridges the gap between touring and off-road capability. Compared to the X, it benefits from 21/17-inch tubeless spoke wheels and fully adjustable suspension. The 390 Adventure S is priced at Rs. 3.96 lakh (ex-showroom).

KTM 390 Adventure R

The KTM 390 Adventure R is the most hardcore off-road-focused version in the adventure lineup. It features international-spec WP Apex suspension with 230mm travel at both ends, along with a 21/18-inch spoke wheel setup shod with knobby tyres. Designed to handle aggressive off-road use, the R also gets tube-type spoke wheels. It is priced at Rs. 3.77 lakh (ex-showroom), making it a relatively off-road-focused alternative for serious trail riders.

With this variant rejig, KTM has effectively broadened the appeal of the 390 Adventure range, offering a more accessible entry point while retaining the other models for touring and hardcore off-road use.
