Yamaha XSR 155 Gets New Metallic Black Colour, Price Updated

Yamaha XSR 155 has received a new Metallic Black colour option and a variant-wise price revision in India, raising the top price to about Rs 1.59 lakh (ex-showroom). This matters to Indian buyers because colour-linked pricing now changes the motorcycle’s entry and top-end cost within the premium 155cc segment. The update expands the palette to five shades while introducing a darker finish with gold suspension hardware. Prices now vary depending on colour choice rather than a single uniform tag, affecting on-road budgets and variant selection for buyers comparing neo-retro motorcycles around the Rs 1.5-Rs 1.6 lakh band.

The darker scheme does not alter design or equipment. Core styling elements such as the round LED headlamp, sculpted tank and minimalist bodywork remain unchanged, meaning the update is purely cosmetic within the existing neo-retro design language.

Other shades fall in between: Vivid Red at roughly Rs 1.53 lakh and Metallic Grey at about Rs 1.57 lakh after smaller hikes. The revision means buyers now pay up to Rs 9,000 more for certain colours compared with earlier uniform pricing. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures.
