Simple Electric Scooters Available with Free Extended Warranty Offer

Simple Energy has announced a limited-period offer for its electric scooter range, valid till 31 March 2026. Under this scheme, customers purchasing any Simple electric scooter will receive a complimentary two-year extended warranty, valued at around Rs. 6,500. Buyers can also opt for the five-year warranty package by paying the additional difference.

Simple’s current portfolio comprises the One Gen 2 and the One S Gen 2. The Simple One Gen 2 is available in two battery pack options – 4.5kWh and 5kWh. The former offers a claimed IDC range of 236km, while the latter delivers a range of 265km. The Simple One S Gen 2 is positioned as a more affordable alternative, delivering a claimed range of 190km IDC.

Simple Energy has also showcased the Ultra, which is yet to be launched. Once introduced, it is expected to sit at the top of the range with a claimed IDC range of 400km, a top speed of 115kmph, and a 0-40kmph acceleration time of 2.77 seconds. The company is also expected to launch an entry-level family scooter soon, and the design patents of that scooter have already been leaked.

In terms of pricing, the Simple One Gen 2 is priced from Rs. 1.69 lakh for the 4.5kWh variant and Rs. 1.77 lakh for the 5kWh version. Meanwhile, the Simple OneS is pegged at Rs. 1.49 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom Bengaluru).
