Honda CBR650R, CB650R, and X-ADV Discontinued in India

Honda CBR650R, CB650R, and X-ADV Discontinued in India

  • Honda’s 650cc lineup was updated in 2025
  • CBR650R was priced at Rs. 10.40 lakh (ex-showroom)
  • CB650R was priced at Rs. 9.60 lakh (ex-showroom)

Honda has discontinued the CBR650R, CB650R, and X-ADV in India. The discontinuation is likely due to the limited number of units allocated to India being sold out. Honda has done this in the past, removing models from its BigWing website once allocations are depleted.

That said, the Japanese manufacturer could relaunch these models sometime in 2026 or early 2027. There is currently no official confirmation on a relaunch timeline.

The brand launched the updated CBR650R and the CB650R in January 2025. The CBR650R was priced at Rs. 10.40 lakh, and the CB650R was priced at Rs. 9.60 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom rates.

The updated models featured Honda’s new e-clutch technology. The e-clutch uses electronic actuators in the clutch case that automatically engage and disengage the clutch. It allows riders to start and shift without manually operating the clutch. This system is quite useful for newer riders who are just getting started on their ‘big bike’ journey.

The Honda X-ADV was a maxi-style scooter, launched in May 2025 at Rs. 11.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It was also likely brought to India in limited numbers, similar to the CBR650R and CB650R.
