The F 450 GS marks a significant step forward for BMW in the entry-level ADV space, as it will replace the now-discontinued BMW G 310 GS in India. While the motorcycle has been designed and developed by BMW Motorrad in Germany, it will be exclusively manufactured in India by TVS Motor Company at its Hosur facility.

In terms of design, the baby GS takes inspiration from the flagship BMW R 1300 GS, carrying forward the brand’s signature ADV styling in a more compact and accessible form factor. On the hardware front, the F 450 GS is expected to feature long-travel suspension with USD front forks and a monoshock at the rear. It will offer adjustability to tune it for on-road as well as off-road riding conditions. The bike will ride on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup, wrapped in dual-purpose tyres.
