Simple Energy opens new showrooms across India

Simple Energy has expanded its sales/service network in India with the launch of five new dealerships. The company inaugurated new outlets in Delhi, Nashik, Aurangabad, and Siliguri.

The company has opened two dealerships in the national capital, located at opposite ends of the city. This has been done to ensure better customer reach. Also, with the opening of stores in Nashik and Aurangabad, the company is aiming to cater to more customers in western India.

The new Siliguri outlet, meanwhile, operates as a full-fledged 3S facility, offering sales, service, and spares under one roof.

All the newly opened showrooms will showcase the company’s current electric scooter portfolio, including the Simple One Gen 2 and the Simple OneS Gen 2. The Simple One Gen 2 is available with two battery options – a 4.5kWh pack offering a claimed IDC range of 236km and a larger 5kWh unit delivering up to 265km. The more affordable Simple OneS Gen 2, on the other hand, offers a claimed range of 190km on a single charge.

Simple Energy currently operates close to 70 outlets across more than 38 cities in India and plans to continue its expansion drive in the coming months with new showrooms planned in cities such as Nagpur, Ranchi, and Bhubaneswar.
