For the second record, the customer also completed the longest distance cross-country expedition on an electric motorcycle. Over 600 days, the customer covered 1.2 lakh kilometres across all Indian states.

Ultraviolette says the battery pack retained 95 per cent health even after covering over 1.46 lakh km. Through this journey, the bike consumed 6,999 kWh of power and recovered 97kWh via regen.

One of the issues that prevents people from touring on electric motorcycles is the lack of charging infrastructure. Ultraviolette has been working with Bolt.Earth is expanding the fast-charging network in India and reducing customers’ range anxiety. Recently, the brand announced that it has set up over 130 fast-charging stations across seven states in India. It also plans to expand to over 200 in the next 24 months.
