Bimota KB998 Rimini Elite Unveiled: Limited to 5 Units

Spanish WSBK race team, Provec Racing, has unveiled the track-focused Bimota KB998 Rimini Elite, an even more extreme version of the standard KB998 Rimini. The motorcycle produces 212bhp, which is 15bhp more than the standard model, and weighs 176kg after shedding 16.7kg.

The bike is equipped with premium cycle parts, including Brembo brakes, Showa suspension, an Akrapovic exhaust, and Pirelli tyres. It also gets a Mectronik-developed electronics suite featuring 2D telemetry, multiple riding modes, and adjustable traction control, ignition, and engine braking.

The KB998 Rimini Elite has been developed with inputs from test rider Xavi Forés and WorldSBK riders Alex Lowes and Axel Bassani. It has already made its race debut at the final round of the Spanish Superbike Championship in Jerez, where Tito Rabat finished on the podium.

The motorcycle is limited to just five units globally and is priced at €99,800 (approximately Rs. 1.09 crore). In addition to the bike, buyers will get access to an exclusive track event with the Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team. The package also includes technical support from the Provec-run team and VIP hospitality at select WorldSBK rounds.
