MV Agusta Unveils the Limited Brutale 1000 ABT

  • 201bhp as standard; 208bhp with racing kit
  • 130 units worldwide
  • Production will begin in Q4 2026

MV Agusta has uncovered this achingly beautiful Brutale 1000 ABT super naked developed in collaboration with ABT Sportsline. Production will begin in the fourth quarter of 2026 for the exclusive 130 individually numbered units built for worldwide market. The 130 actually marks ABT Sportsline’s 130th anniversary making it a clear collector from the start. It is priced at €40,990 in Italy (more than Rs. 47lakh without customs and taxes), and no specifics for its India availability yet.

Each Brutale 1000 ABT will be delivered with a dedicated ownership kit with an Arrow Titanium slip-on with ECU map, Braking Batfly front discs, painted carbon pillion seat cover, swingarm pivot adjustment plates, bike cover, welcome kit, certificate of authenticity and a dedicated small parts and instruction box.

Powering it is MV Agusta’s exotic 1000cc inline-four engine which produces 201bhp at 13,500rpm and 116Nm at 11,000rpm in its standard form. The racing kit with its Arrow Titanium four-exit slip-on exhaust and a dedicated ECU map bumps the output to 208bhp at 14,000rpm! With a side note stating that the exhaust and ECU map are meant for racing use only.

Engineers have given the Brutale 1000 ABT new camshafts, revised engine mapping, better throttle sensitivity, optimised gearbox ratios and a shorter final drive ratio. The Ohlins electronically controlled suspension includes a Nix EC upside-down hydraulic front fork with TiN surface treatment. Rear is handled by an EC TTX progressive rear shock. Further the EC steering damper allows electronic adjustment of compression and rebound damping.

MV Agusta has also used forged wheels at both ends to reduce unsprung mass and improve steering response. And please look at that gorgeous carbon rear wheel rim cover. It is inspired by turbofan-style racing wheels and is not only a design piece. It also reduces aerodynamic turbulence around the rear wheel, helping the motorcycle’s drag coefficient.

The very serious braking setup has Brembo Stylema monobloc front callipers, with the racing kit including 320mm Braking Batfly front discs for racing use. These discs use a contoured channel design to improve heat dissipation and self-cleaning. It makes the braking feel consistent under hard use.

The entire visual identity of the Brutale 1000 ABT is built around a Nero Carbonio Metallizzato and Rosso Fuoco colour combination. The graphics are applied using water decal technology and are sealed under the clear coat to improve durability and visual finish. One side carries the German flag and ABT’s ‘From The Racetrack to The Road’ line, while the other side carries the Italian flag with MV Agusta’s ‘Motorcycle Art’ line.

Remember we said carbon fibre bits earlier. There’s 19 components use plain-weave carbon-fibre construction, including the airbox cover, tank side panels, inner air ducts, projector covers, front spoiler, heat shields, engine covers, rear wheel rim cover and rear belly fairing panel.
