Norton Manx R: First Ride Review

Introduction

The Manx R marks the resurgence of the British brand Norton after it saw a lot of ups and downs since its inception in 1898. TVS, the third largest two-wheeler brand in the world, acquired Norton in 2020 and the brands have collaboratively worked on multiple products since then. The Manx R is the maiden product coming out of this partnership, and before it makes its India debut in the near future, we got to ride the motorcycle around stunning Seville in Spain, and at the highly technical Monteblanco circuit. So, do we think it is competent enough to give the likes of the Ducati Panigale V4 and BMW S1000RR a run for their money? Well, not really, and we are glad for that. Let me explain.
