Yamaha XSR155 Olive-green Custom Unveiled in Japan

  • Features a unique olive-green colour scheme
  • Gets touring-focused accessories
  • Made in collaboration with Beams, a Japanese lifestyle brand

Yamaha has unveiled a custom version of the XSR155 made in collaboration with Japanese lifestyle brand Beams. The custom bike features a unique olive-green colour scheme and touring-focused accessories.

The olive-green paint scheme in a matte finish gives the bike a rugged and outdoorsy look. The finish is applied on the mudguard, fuel tank and side panels. There’s a simple ‘Yamaha’ graphic on the fuel tank in white. On the side panel, there’s a ‘Happy Outside Beams’ graphic in gold. Overall, the paint finish looks quite premium.

What gives the bike a more rugged look are the custom accessories. There’s a headlight grille and ZETA knuckle guards at the front. In keeping with the outdoor-focused theme, Beams has equipped the motorcycle with soft panniers, a top box, a Helinox storage unit, and camping equipment.

This custom version of the XSR155 was unveiled when the bike was launched in Japan. The brand launched the roadster in Japan, with a premium-looking black colour scheme.

Apart from the new paint scheme and accessories, the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged. It is powered by the same 155cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 18.7bhp and 14Nm. It is worth noting that the Japanese-spec XSR155 produces 0.6bhp more and 0.2Nm less torque than the India-spec version.
