  • Five CB750 Hornet customs and five XL750 Transalp customs
  • 2026 contest adds an On Road versus Off Road theme
  • Display specials only

Honda has revealed ten special custom motorcycles for the 2026 edition of its hondacustoms competition at Wheels and Waves in Biarritz. This year’s focus is on the CB750 Hornet and XL750 Transalp with five customs based on either. These are show specials created to celebrate custom culture and highlight how different the same engine family can feel when used in road and off-road formats. The Hornet side looks at street, race, café and futuristic themes, while the Transalp side leans into rally, desert, surf, Baja and even three-wheeler off-road ideas.

All these ten customs will be showcased at Wheels and Waves from 10 June to 14 June 2026. Voting remains open online through the summer on hondacustoms website, and the winner will be announced later.

There’s White Venom created by Honda Germany and Motocrew as a CB750 Hornet turned into a sharp urban street tracker with a white paint scheme, matte black frame, Rotobox Bullet carbon wheels, Dunlop slicks, Wilbers suspension and a custom heat-wrapped exhaust.

Honda Left Rear Three Quarter

Sting Honey from Honda Poland, Honda Sokół and Steel Choppers uses a honeycomb-style paint finish and a sharper rear section that plays on the idea of a stinger.

Honda Right Front Three Quarter

Last Lap from Honda Spain and Stilmoto turns the Hornet into a 1980s race-style machine, with a full racing front fairing taken from an old mould, a flat fuel tank, squared tail and a reworked HRC Tricolour theme.

Honda Right Front Three Quarter

Mugen from Honda Portugal and Mototrofa is the most aggressive Hornet-based build in the list and probably the one that best fits the roadster’s original personality.

Honda Right Rear Three Quarter

Concept 2077 from Honda Switzerland and Stark Industries uses 3D-printed fairings, a new belly pan, a fresh front end, full-look wheels and a deep candy red paint finish with gold detailing.

Honda Right Rear Three Quarter

Ruth created by Honda Austria and Reier Motors is inspired by Baja racing. This Transalp build mixes adventure-bike substance with a stronger enduro look.

Honda Right Front Three Quarter

Ocean Nomad from Honda France and CB77 by Gauvin removes the front fairings, adds a retro round LED headlamp, a brown leather seat, a coastal paint scheme and a side rack with matching skate and surfboards.

Honda Left Front Three Quarter

Honda ATC750 from Honda Benelux and Anquety Motor Sport turns the Transalp into a modern off-road trike.

Honda Right Front Three Quarter

Saharja from Honda Italy and DRS Custom is the Transalp’s Dakar side in its clearest expression. The UK entry, 40th Anniversary ’86 Dakar Tribute by CJ Ball, pays tribute to Cyril Neveu’s 1986 Dakar win on the NXR750.
