2026 Bajaj Pulsar 220F: Top Highlights

Bajaj has updated the legendary Pulsar 220F in India for 2026. The motorcycle gets subtle updates while keeping the traits intact that have made it so popular in India over the years. In that case, let’s take a look at what’s updated in the bike and what’s been kept unchanged.

Modern Headlamp Setup

The 2026 Pulsar 220F gets a new single LED projector headlight and LED position lights. The outgoing model incorporated the dated projector for the low beam and a multi-reflector unit for the high beam. The position lights on the 2026 model have also been upgraded to LED units, which adds a much-needed dash of freshness to the bike’s fascia.

Same Timeless Design

Bajaj has been mindful of not changing the design of the Pulsar 220F, an important aspect that still garners attention and buyers. The imposing front fascia of the bike, comprising a small fairing, somehow still looks relevant. At the back, the muscular fuel tank and sharp yet long tail add to the butch visual appeal of the motorcycle.

Engine & Hardware Unchanged

The core essentials of the bike have also been left untouched. It continues to be powered by a 220cc, oil-cooled motor which produces 20.11bhp and 18.55Nm. This engine has received timely updates to be compliant with constantly changing emission norms, but the foundation has remained the same. Similarly, it continues to be underpinned by a double cradle downtube chassis that rides on 17-inch alloys with traditional telescopic forks and dual springs. Braking is handled by a single brake at both ends with dual-channel ABS.

Price Hike

The Bajaj Pulsar 220F had received its last update in December 2025 when it was pegged at Rs. 1.28 lakh. The latest 2026 iteration, meanwhile, has gotten dearer by Rs. 8,000 and costs Rs. 1.36 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom).
