2026 Honda CB750 Hornet: What else can you buy?

2026 Honda CB750 Hornet: What else can you buy?

Honda recently updated its big bike portfolio by launching the 2026 model of the CB750 Hornet in India. Priced at Rs. 10.49 lakh, the motorcycle now gets Honda’s proprietary E-clutch, which promises to make city riding seamless. While that should make life easier, if you’re wondering what else you can get for almost the same money, here are your options.

Kawasaki Z900: Rs. 9.99 lakh

The sweet-sounding inline four engine and ease of riding are some of the traits that have kept the Kawasaki Z900 on top of the big bike sales chart in India for years now. The latest model also offers a fresh design, an updated features list, and better performance in the mid-range, all of which make it an even more enticing package than before. Besides, the accessible price tag gives it brownie points.

Triumph Scrambler 900: Rs. 10.75 lakh

Triumph’s soulful 900cc twin, clinging to an adventure-centric package, is what describes the Scrambler 900 best. Although 120mm of suspension travel doesn’t really qualify it for any hardcore off-road action, it is still a lovely motorcycle to go ripping a flat dirt track, sliding at a beach, and cruising on the highway. The high-set twin exhaust pipes, though, tend to leave your right leg calves with burn marks if you spend too much time on the Scrambler 900 in traffic.

Ducati Scrambler Icon: Rs. 10.87-11.90 lakh

The Scrambler Icon is Ducati’s wild child. The 803cc, air-cooled unit is a cracker of a motor, especially when you consider the fact that the bike weighs a mere 185kg (kerb). Although the cycle parts and dimensions don’t justify its ‘Scrambler’ tag, the motorcycle is a proper hoot to ride on the tarmac, especially if you love to wheelie and slide your way all the time. And for its compact size, the Scrambler Icon’s exhaust sound is deceptively loud and entertaining.

Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE: Rs. 11 lakh

The Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE brings a lot of value to the table if you’re open to considering a versatile adventure tourer. Although it is on the heavier side at 232kg (kerb), the V-Strom 800 DE can handle a fair bit of off-roading, courtesy of high ground clearance and a capable suspension setup with full adjustability. The comfortable seating ergonomics, and powerful 776cc, twin-cylinder engine make it a great mile muncher as well. For adventure enthusiasts, it is the most sensible bike in this list.
