2027 Kawasaki KLX230 Launched at Rs. 2.19 Lakh

Kawasaki India has launched the MY27 KLX230 at Rs. 2.19 lakh (ex-showroom), making it Rs. 35,000 more expensive than the MY26 bike. The MY27 model remains largely unchanged and is available in the same two colours as the MY26 bike.

The company has not commented on the reason behind the price revision. The KLX230 continues to be powered by the same 233cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 18.7bhp and 19Nm.

It features a telescopic fork and monoshock suspension setup, with 220mm wheel travel at the front and 223mm wheel travel at the rear. It has a tall seat height of 880mm, and the kerb weight comes to 139kg.

The KLX230 is aimed at riders looking for a capable off-road motorcycle that is also road-legal. The bike is currently available in two colours: Lime Green and Battle Grey, similar to the MY26 bike. However, we wished Kawasaki had made some changes to the colours, like adding new graphics to better differentiate the bike from the MY26 bike.
