Maruti Suzuki picks 5 startups including Sarvam AI for multilingual customer support

on Monday announced collaboration with five startups: MiniMines, Easework AI, , Siftly and CodeMate AI, to develop solutions across business functions aimed at improving operational efficiency and customer experience in a press release.

These startups are the winners of the fifth cohort of its Maruti Suzuki Incubation Program (MSIP) to work on customer engagement, automation of business processes and sustainability initiatives, the automaker said in a media release.

The details of the startups and project areas are:

Sarvam AI: Will leverage generative AI-based multilingual models, to build conversational AI agents that will transform interactions with the brand’s customer touchpoints.

Easework AI: Will implement agentic AI solutions to automate the purchase workflows for indirect consumables.

Siftly: Will integrate generative AI for enhancing brand visibility.

CodeMate AI: Will aim to speed up software development for applications concerning business processes.

MiniMines: Will develop solutions to recycle end-of-life lithium-ion batteries in an environmentally responsible manner while recovering valuable materials.

Maruti said that for the last seven years, it has created an eight-stage startup ecosystem, of which it has filtered about 7,400 startups and teamed up with 38.
