  • Available in new Ducati Yellow colour now
  • Rs. 32,000 more expensive than Ducati Red

Ducati India has launched a new colour of the Streetfighter V2 S. Called the Ducati Yellow, it is a stark contrast from Ducati’s signature red colour. The Italian brand has priced it at Rs. 20.20 lakh, ex-showroom, which makes it roughly Rs. 32,000 more expensive than the red colour of the Streetfighter V2 S. The company also sells the standard model of the bike in India at Rs. 17.86 lakh.

The new Streetfighter V2 is powered by an 890cc, V-twin engine, which is the lightest twin-cylinder engine Ducati has built, weighing just 54.4kg. It produces 119bhp at 10,750rpm and 93.3Nm at 8,250rpm, with over 70 per cent of that torque available from as low as 3,000rpm. While the standard V2 tips the scales at 178kg (dry), and the higher-spec V2 S is even lighter at 175kg (dry). The S trim is also superior in terms of cycle parts, as it gets fully adjustable Ohlins suspension at both ends

In typical Ducati fashion, the bike is loaded with electronic aids facilitated by a six-axis IMU. It enables cornering ABS (with slide-by-brake), traction control, wheelie control, engine-brake control, and a bi-directional quick shifter. Riders can choose between four modes — Race, Sport, Road, and Wet — via a five-inch TFT display with selectable layouts.
