Triumph Speed Twin 1200 TFC; Custom from the Factory

  • Limited production of 750 units
  • 104bhp and 112Nm from the 1,200cc twin

Triumph Speed Twin 1200 TFC (Triumph Factory Custom) is the fifth model in the TFC lineup, and is definitely the most focused version of the British roadster. Only 750 examples will be manufactured worldwide and each motorcycle will receive an individual number and a Certificate of Authenticity. The motorcycle is available to pre-order in selected global markets, with deliveries scheduled to begin from October 2026. With such a small production number, it’s unlikely you’ll see one in India.

The regular Speed Twin combines traditional Bonneville styling with a lighter and more energetic roadster character. This TFC pushes it further towards a proper cafe racer through a sportier riding position, lighter materials, stronger chassis hardware and a more exclusive finish. The clip-on handlebars and rear-set footpegs create a closer connection with the front of the bike. Billet aluminium upper yoke carries the motorcycle’s laser-etched production number.

The motorcycle is finished in a special Obsidian Gold paint scheme. Beneath changing light, gold metallic particles become visible through the dark base colour. There’s also polished carbon-fibre front and rear mudguards, sculpted side panels and heel guards. It is supported by black finishes across the fork sliders, control plates, engine covers and rear sprocket. A gold chain and gold-anodised suspension parts add contrast.

Solo seat uses black leather and high-grip suede with ribbed sections and hand-finished stitching. Machined bar-end mirrors and small multifunction rear lights further clean up the shape. The rear indicators also work as the brake light and tail-light. There’s some use of carbon fibre to reduce weight at the mudguards.

TFC comes with fully adjustable Ohlins suspension at both ends for preload, compression and rebound damping adjustments. The black suspension components and gold-anodised details look fantastic on the Speed. Braking is top-spec too thanks to Brembo Stylema front callipers with a radial master cylinder and an adjustable MCS lever.

The TFC has a claimed kerb weight of 214kg. Triumph’s 1,200cc High Power Bonneville parallel-twin engine produces 104bhp at 7,750rpm and 112Nm at 4,250rpm. Most of its performance should be available without having to hold the engine near its redline. Twin Akrapovic titanium silencers replace the regular exhaust units. They feature black detailing and carbon-fibre end caps, matching the rest of the motorcycle.

TFC also receives Triumph Shift Assist as standard for clutchless upshifts and downshifts through the six-speed gearbox. Automatic rev matching during downshifts should help keep the rear of the motorcycle settled when braking hard into a corner.
