Loboo Wanderer at Rs. 26,000 Turns Luggage into Protection

Loboo Wanderer BHGB05T inflatable crash-bar bags are now available in India at Rs. 26,000 through aftermarket suppliers. They bring an unusually clever idea to adventure-bike luggage, instead of simply using the empty space around a motorcycle’s crash guards for storage, Loboo has added an inflatable inner structure intended to act as another buffer during a fall.

These are much smaller bags fitted around the front crash bars, with one unit sitting on either side of the motorcycle. Each bag provides six litres of storage, meaning the pair gives riders around 12 litres in total. That is enough for items such as a puncture-repair kit, compact air compressor, rainwear, basic tools, chain lubricant, snacks or small electronic equipment without occupying space is the main panniers or top box.

Inside the BHGB05T is an inflatable TPU chamber. Once inflated, the bag becomes firmer and Loboo claims it can support a bearing load of at least 300kg. This air chamber is intended to absorb and spread some of the energy from a low-speed drop before the motorcycle’s metal crash bar takes the full load.

The system can also alter the angle at which the fallen motorcycle rests. By holding the bike slightly further away from the ground, it may reduce contact with body panels while also making a heavy adventure motorcycle somewhat easier to lift.

Construction uses a composite TPU and nylon material, whilst the inflatable BHGB05T carries IPX7 waterproof rating. The bag measures 30cm tall, 25cm wide and 12cm deep. It also uses a waterproof closure system and an anti-theft mounting arrangement. Reflective sections further improve visibility at night.
