Toyota C-HR+: Exterior
The C-HR+’s exterior styling is sharp. It follows the same aesthetics as recent Toyota models, such as the Prius, the new Camry, and the Crown lineup sold overseas. Thanks to its fresh underpinnings, the C-HR+ is 158 mm longer, 38 mm wider, and 37 mm taller than the C-HR. Unlike BEVs from Tesla and BYD, the C-HR+ retains a traditional SUV shape while featuring a crisp design.
Toyota C-HR+: Interior
Though this shares its name with the C-HR, its cabin features a similar design to the bZ4x. In the centre, there is a large floating-type touchscreen. The steering wheel is a two-spoke unit, and ahead of it is a small digital instrument cluster, similar to what you see on the new Prius.
Toyota C-HR+: Battery And Range
European-spec C-HR+ will be available with two battery pack options: 57.7 kWh and 77 kWh. The former is available exclusively with front-wheel drive, while the latter will have front-wheel-drive and rear-wheel-drive options. Toyota claims a maximum range of 600, according to the WLTP cycle.
Toyota C-HR+: Motor
In the front-wheel-drive configuration, with the 57.7 kWh battery pack, the C-HR+ comes with a 167 hp electric motor mounted on the front axle. Power goes up to 224 hp in front-wheel-drive configuration with the 77 kWh pack. All-wheel-drive C-HR+ adds an electric motor on the rear axle, taking the total system output to 343 hp.
