Audi Cars To Cost More In India From June

German luxury carmaker Audi has today announced that it will be increasing the price of its cars in India from June. With this move Audi joins the list of carmakers who have announced a price hike for its cars in the Indian market.

Audi cars will cost more in India from June, announcing this price hike the company has stated that it will be increasing the prices of its cars in the Indian market across the entire model range. This price hike will come into effect from June 1st 2024. Like most manufacturers the company has cited increase in input costs and logistics as the reason behind this hike.

According to the company the price of the entire model range of Audi will witness a price hike of up to 2 percent effective from June 2024. Sharing this information the company also revealed that in FY23/24 the company managed to sell 7,027 units in the Indian market posting a 33 percent growth in annual sales. The company also stated that its pre-owned car business, ‘Audi Approved plus’ posted a growth of 50 percent in FY23/24.

Commenting on the occasion Balbir Sing Dhillon, Head Audi India said, “Rising input costs are compelling us to increase the prices by up to 2 percent effective from June 01 2024. The price correction aims to ensure sustainable growth for Audi India and our Dealer partners. As always, its our endavour that the impact of the rising costs is as minimal as possible for our customers”.

Audi India’s product lineup in India currently includes models like – A4, A6, A8 L, Q3, Q3 Sportback, Q5, Q7, Q8, S5 Sportback, RS5 Sportback, RS Q8, Q8 50 e-tron, Q8 55 e-tron, Q8 Sportback 50 e-tron, Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron, e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT.
