Hero MotoCorp Gears Up for 2025 with Bold New Lineup Aiming at Mid and Premium Motorcycle Segments

Xtreme 250R

This model is expected to come with a 250cc engine and improved performance for those desiring both the unit and fuel efficiency for work or school and the thrill of spirited ride. The new Xtreme 250R is on the launching line with models like the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Yamaha FZ25.

Karizma XMR 250:

The latest addition to the revived Karizma series is the XMR 250, which will have a more muscular 250cc engine, sleeker body graphics, and an all new frontal assembly. It intends to take on models like the KTM RC200, Yamaha R15, Suzuki Gixxer 250 among others.

Xpulse 210:

The new Xpulse 210 will be slightly over the its elder sibling with a revised 210cc engine that should offer around 24.6bhp and 20.7 Nm of peak torque. It will be more glamorous in its design and has been developed to suit the adventurous type of driver, with off road performance set to be improved by the adoption of a 6 speed gear box, likely to be a slipper clutch.

Recent Performance:

Standalone profit for the second quarter ending September 30, 2024, was up 14% to ₹ 12.04 billion, according to Hero MotoCorp. Such increase is due to the increase in sales of mid range motorcycles such as the Xtreme 125R which recorded a 16% increment in sales. The company’s total sales also rose by 11% to ₹104.63 billion on account of new models such as the Karizma XMR.,/p>

Sales of 2-wheelers in India have shown growing demand in mid-range motorcycle segment followed by that of premium motorcycles due to, rising population base looking for better performance and loaded features.
