Honda Cars India Expands Portfolio with Launch of Elevate Black Edition

 

Honda Cars India has increased the company’s portfolio with its new launch of Honda’s Elevate Black Edition and the Honda’s Signature Black Edition on January 10, 2025.
These editions are built on the superior ZX trim level and come with choices of either the manual or the CVT transmission models.

Honda Elevate Black Edition:

ZX MT: ₹15.51 lakh
ZX CVT: ₹16.73 lakh

Honda Elevate Signature Black Edition:
ZX MT: ₹15.71 lakh
ZX CVT: ₹16.93 lakh

Exterior Features:

Although these are topics in both editions, it is in the second edition that President appears in a more cleaner and fashionable Crystal Black Pearl exterior paint that complements the SUV. Black alloy wheels and wheel nuts are used for the Black Edition, black paint for the upper grille, silver chrome front and rear under garnish, on the lower door wing, and roof rails are silver chromed. A ‘Black Edition’ emblem can be seen at the back too. The derivatives of this vehicle are cranked up in terms of elegance with standard black painted upper grille, skid garnishes, roof rails, and door lower garnish; aside from, there are ‘Signature Edition’ on the front fender.

Interior Features:

Inside, both editions include an all-black interior theme with black leatherette trimmed seats and door panels, black PVC door inserts combined with black central console surround, and black instrument panel. The Signature Black Edition also includes a new rhythmic 7-color ambient lighting and contributing to an elegant atmosphere of the cabin.

Mechanical Specifications:

Clad almost identically inside and out, the two different editions are sharing the same running gear: a 1.5L i-VTEC petrol engine with 121 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque, offered with a 6-speed manual or a CVT auto. There are no mechanical alterations compared to the standard Elevate models, but it does mean that there is loads more choice.

They come equipped with standard goodies like a10.25-inch infotainment touch screen display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, electric sunroof, wireless charger, ambient lighting, Honda Sensing advanced safety technologies’ package, six airbags, and a 7-inch TFT MID meter cluster.

Availability:

Pre-orders for both the editions opened the day when the book was launched. Sales of the CVT variants started in January 2025 and those of the manual transmission variants to commence in February 2025.

The new launch of the Honda Elevate Black Edition and Signature Black Edition are aimed at Honda’s focus towards understanding the consumer behaviour and their choice of having differentiated and superior cosmetic built-in compact SUV’s.
