Honda Rebel 500 Launched In India; To Compete With Kawasaki Eliminator

Honda has launched the highly anticipated Rebel 500 cruiser bike in India. It will retail at an ex-showroom price of Rs 5.12 lakh. Honda will sell the new Rebel 500 through its big wing dealerships. However, it will only be available in Gurugram, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Bookings are now open, and deliveries are set to commence in June 2025.

The Rebel 500 is powered by a 471cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine that churns out 45.59 hp and 43.3 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Honda says they have tuned the Rebel’s engine to have a torque-rich low end, making it easy to ride in the city.

2025 Honda Rebel 500: Cycle Parts

The new Rebel 500 rides on telescopic forks at the front, with Showa dual-shock absorbers at the back. It offers an extremely low seat height of 690 mm. There is a 296mm disc brake at the front with a 240 mm disc brake at the rear. This retro cruiser comes with dual-channel ABS. When it comes to tires, you’ll see a 130/90 R16 at the front, with a 150/80 R16 at the rear.

Honda will be offering the Rebel 500 in a single variant with only one colour option: Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic. In terms of features, this cruiser has all-LED lighting and an inverted LCD display.
