ID.Every1 Concept Previews Volkswagen’s New Entry-Level EV

will debut its most affordable electric vehicle, likely to be dubbed the , in 2027. The now revealed concept previews this upcoming EV from the German brand. The production version of the ID.Every1 will effectively replace the e-up!, though, at 3,880 mm in length, it is substantially bigger than the now defunct mini-EV.

The ID.Every1 looks cute. Volkswagen won’t change a lot when moving to the production version. So, you can expect the compact dimensions to be carried forward. This is not a bad thing as the design has several references to the older generation Golfs. Changes from the concept will include bigger wing mirrors (because of better visibility) and smaller wheels (because of comfort).

Volkswagen ID.Every1: Interior

Like all modern EVs from Volkswagen, the interior of the ID.Every1 is neat and minimalist. A twin-spoke steering wheel, a big central touchscreen, and a digital driver’s display exist. The cabin provided room for four adults to sit comfortably. The upholstery is a combination of white and grey tones. They should give the cabin a spacious feel if carried over to the production model.

Like the ID.2all, Volkswagen’s MEB platform is used here. The front-wheel-drive configuration with an electric motor mounted on the front axle is offered. The power output is 94 hp, and the top speed is promised at 130 km/h. Range estimates are 250 km.
