Nissan has some big plans for 2024 and it also includes the facelifted Magnite SUV. The same car can be credited to keeping the company up and running in the Indian market despite several setbacks in terms of not-so-successful products, and the latest set of spy images suggest that Nissan is planning to strengthen its portfolio with the refreshed Magnite SUV.
The Magnite SUV is placed as India’s most economical sub-4m SUV, with commendable affordability. Notably, it stands out for its competitive pricing, safety (4 Star GNCAP), design, and feature offerings. With the upcoming model, the company is planning to build on these attributes with likely a tad revamped design and feature upgrades.
The latest prototype was sighted in Chennai and shared by Weguide.auto. While despite being entirely covered in camouflage, the distinct silhouette of the Magnite remains unmistakable. Particularly noteworthy are the integrated roof spoiler, flattish roofline, and the C-pillar shape evident from the side profile. Also, the overall size and width of the camouflaged car reminds of nothing but the Magnite SUV.
2024 Nissan Magnite Facelift: 5 Changes To Expect
With the new Magnite, Nissan will rejig the features list, alongside introducing some minor exterior tweaks here and there.
- As the spy shots suggest, there will be a new design for the alloy wheels. However, the SUV will continue to run on the 16-inch wheels with 195 mm section tyres.
- The addition of shark fin antenna could be made out (almost) from the new images.
- While the camouflage smartly hides the lights, Nissan could introduce LED lights functionality this time around to make the Magnite appeal more modern.
- New interior colours and additional features could be part of the list.
- Nissan could also introduce a single-pane sunroof.
That said, expect the Magnite to remain unchanged mechanically. It will continue to sport the same 1.0L 3-cylinder engine with the same gearbox options.
